Day 14 Induction

I made it through another successful Induction. I feel great and can definitely see the progress. I need to add more exercise, but I have been getting in almost 10,000 steps a day. I’m really looking forward to reaching my goal weight this time around. 

Meals:
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Bunless cheeseburger and iced coffee
Dinner - Steak and spinach

Day 13 Induction

I’m up to 2,000 plus steps while at work this morning. I feel great and my Generous Cafe crew said a great prayer for me. I also got a new iced coffee drink idea at work with some cinnamon added for taste. 

Meals:

Breakfast - Omelette with bacon and veggies

Lunch - Bunless cheeseburger 

Dinner - Spinach and rotisserie chicken

Day 12 Induction

It has been a great day, despite the rain. I’m still on course and making the necessary changes to accommodate my low carb lifestyle while at work and home. I’m getting so much better at planning my meals and keeping healthy snacks on hand. 

Meals:
Breakfast - Scrambled eggs with cheese and sausage 
Lunch - Turkey salad with ranch dressing 
Dinner - Lemon pepper wings and ranch dip

Day 11 Induction

A few days away from low carb eating, for two weeks. I am satisfied with the weight loss thus far, as I haven't been able to really exercise with my cycle. I expect a drop in weight after it is over. Nevertheless, I am following my plan, eating good foods, and feeling great.

Breakfast - Beef sausage with cheese cubes
Lunch - Salad with mojo rotisserie chicken 
Dinner - Lemon pepper wings and ranch dip

Day 10 Induction

I worked from home today and did laundry while relaxing. Not exercise as my cycle is still in the picture. I hope to get some cardio in this weekend and next week. 

Meals:
Breakfast - Beef sausage with cheese cubes
Lunch - Iced cold brew coffee with cream 
Dinner - Steak, green beans with a small salad

Goals

1st Mini Goal - Lose 10 lbs
2nd Mini Goal - Reach 200 lbs
3rd Mini Goal - Get below 200 lbs
Final Destination Goal - 185 lbs

Day 9 Induction

I woke up feeling a little better than yesterday, and made it into the office for work. I feel so much lighter and I'm so proud of the progress I have made thus far. I still have a ways to go, but getting started is the hardest part. This way of eating has lots of benefits and lifelong choices are able to be made. I can see the finish line this time around.

Lunch - Beehive leftover bowl with broccoli, steak, and chicken
Dinner - Shrimp scampi with a salad

Day 8 Induction

Today was a bit of a struggle as I started my period and wasn't feeling my best. I still managed to run a few errands in-between work and made it to an early dinner and church prayer service with a few ladies. I did feel really bloated and uncomfortable. I made it through and will continue on tomorrow.

Breakfast - Iced cold brew coffee and bacon
Dinner/Early - Beehive bowl with broccoli, steak, and chicken

Day 7 Induction

A week of low carb eating has been great to me. I can feel difference mentally and physically. Today I will start walking and plan to continue for 3 days a week to start. I'll incorporate some weights pretty soon and add another day of cardio as time goes on.

Day 6 Induction

I’m so proud of myself. I know I've made it further on this journey, but being that it has been such a struggle to start back, I’m joyful to be back in control of what I’m eating. Better days ahead I know and I have faith that God will sustain me on this journey.

Day 4 Induction

Today was the first holiday since I started back low carb eating and I did well. I even cooked sweet baked beans and didn’t try them for taste.

Busy day working from home. Stayed on plan and ran a few errands afterwards.

Day 2 Induction

I was finally able to eat something after being up early at the auto repair shop for brakes. I grabbed a small iced coffee and one cream from Dunkin. It was pretty good, as I normally get a medium with mocha, sugar and an espresso shot.

Breakfast - Omelette with peppers, cheese and bacon 
Dinner - Caesar salad with a bunless burger

Day 1 Induction

Today was the perfect time to start low carbing again, as it's the first day of July. I hopped on the scale this morning before consuming any drinks or food for accurate weighing. I realized that I originally started 2/21/24 at 239.2 lbs and got down to 221.6 lbs. I'm excited because I know all the benefits that will come along with me eating this way. Wearing smaller clothing and shoes is an extra bonus. 

Weigh-In: 225.6 lbs 

Meals:
Breakfast - Scrambled eggs with cheese and beef sausage
Lunch - Caesar salad with grilled chicken 
Dinner - Lemon pepper wings and celery sticks

Notes: Last round of Induction started 2/21/24 at 239.2 lbs, ended Induction 3/15/24 at 228.8 lbs. Weigh-in on 3/27/24 at 221.6 lbs. Total loss in 36 days was 18 lbs.
